Adrian
Adrian grew up an hour (by broken road) from town on a cow camp lease in Northern California. Her music is a reflection of life on the ranch, and the stories of the buckaroos she meets while day-working on neighboring ranches and performing around the West. Music is a daily passion, but it is not separate from ranch work. This 19 year-old singer/songwriter is an unabashed supporter of her family’s ranching heritage. Her newly released CD, Buckaroo Girl, features songs that reflect her concern for the future of agriculture in modern times. Real western folk music is not dying and Adrian is an active part of extending the tradition of Tyson, Russell, Stamey and others that she has grown up listening to. She currently attends Butte College in Chico, California.
